Nicole Johnson,
you can meet her
at Hattie's Books
during First Fri
day. Michele, the
author of Sapelo
Island's Hog Ham
mock, will be sign
ing her book and
displaying her art
work which will
be on sale at Hat
tie's.
Brown's
Antiques will
offer wine and
cheese, hold a
drawing, new mer
chandise will be in
and select items will be on sale.
Main Street Frames is offering
15% off framing of student portraits
through October.
If you haven't been to Arte Pizza
yet - go! Their speciality is delicious
wood fired pizzas. On top of the already
great prices, owner Tony is offering a
10% discount on large orders. The spe
cials are wonderful. My favorite is the
pizza slice, salad and drink for $5.95.
You have a choice of 10 different kinds
of pizza slices every day. Salad choices
include Caesar, pasta and, the house
salad. All delicious. If you just want a
salad, the Caprese is my favorite.
A new combo for healthier lunch
appetites is the chicken wings, pizza,
drink combo for $7.95.
Arte also does panini sandwiches;
pasta including lasagna and ricotta
stuffed shells with spinach in a vodka
souce, and eggplant parmigiana. Hours
are from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
First Friday is Color Me Happy's
family night where you get to tie dye a
tee shirt with your loved ones! $10 for
kids; $13 or adults.
Daddy Cate's Sizzing Summer
$5.99 Specials are going strong with
Dee Dee's tasty treats including Mon
day's special Chicken Salad Sandwich
like Mama used to make, the Slaw
dog, and the fabulous Sloppy Joe. The
Swiss Chocolate cake is, and I hate to
say this it's so overused, but it's to die
for. Death by Dee Dee's Swiss Choco
late cake would be fine with me.
Ned Cash Jewelers, Inspirations
Home Decor and More, Hattie's
Books and True Vine will offer the
"He said Beer, She said Wine" tom'. □
