Page 10, October 2, 2017, The Islander Sounds by the Sea with Michael Hulett rescheduled Due to Hurricane Irma popular lo cal favorite Michael Hulett has been rescheduled to perform on Sunday, October 15, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Nep tune Park, Oceanside of the Casino Building on St. Simons Island. Michael’s vocals and saxophone captivate audiences with the sounds of soul, rock and romance. He has made a name for himself both re gionally and nationally, playing with entertainers such as The Four Tops and The Savannah Jazz All-Stars. Michael’s repertoire includes classic and modern jazz, the best in fusion and jazz-funk, and highlight’s of R&B, soul, rock and pop. “We are so glad that we are able to reschedule Michael’s performance,” said Heather Heath, Executive Di rector. “We will start it earlier (at 6 pm) since it gets dark much earlier in October, but it promises to be a great evening - with all the outstanding vo cals, music and high energy that Mi chael always gives. We hope everyone will come out and join us!” Sounds by the Sea is presented by Golden Isles Arts & Humanities at Neptune Park on St. Simons Island directly behind the Casino building. This concert will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm and guests are encouraged to bring a picnic supper and a lawn chair or blanket to relax on.
