Lifeguards In Training. Program grad ing combined education with recreation. It taught technical lifeguard skills and inter-person skills to work with people. Participants learned about water safety, lifeguard skills, and leadership on the pool deck while building self-confidence. The Junior Lifeguard Pro gram used cur riculum from the American Red Cross Junior Life guard Program and the instruc tors were profes sionals in the areas of lifeguard- ing, swim instruc tion and youth development. Free Gentle Yoga Classes For Cancer Patients, Survivors and Caregivers Southeast Georgia Health System hosts free gentle yoga classes every Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Kemble Conference Room, 3011 Kemble Av enue, adjacent to the Brunswick Cam pus. The classes are open to those in cancer treatment or recovery and their caregivers. Classes are led by lo cal yoga instructors who have trained with the Christina Phipps Founda tion.
