Pro Direct, GIDA break ground on warehouse facility
Pro Direct, in partnership with the
Golden Isles Development Authority
(GIDA), broke ground recently on a
project in the Tradewinds Technology
Park.
Located off Exit 42 and adjacent to
Interstate 95, this project marks a sig
nificant milestone in the region’s eco
nomic growth and development.
The 55-acre site will be developed
into a state-of-the-art warehouse fa
cility totaling approximately 500,000
square feet. This facility is the first
building in the Tradewinds Technolo
gy Park and is set to become a central
hub of commercial activity, attracting
additional investment and business to
the Golden Isles community. Pro Di
rect will immediately occupy half of
the building, and the remainder will
be built as speculative space for addi
tional tenants. Hillpointe, the devel
oper, will own and manage the facility.
“Today is a day of firsts as we break
ground on the largest industrial build
ing in Glynn County and the first de
velopment at Tradewinds Technology
Park. This is the culmination of the
commitment, dedication of resources,
and vision of those that came before
us. We appreciate the community’s
investment in the Development Au
thority and are proud to partner with
ProDirect as we execute our mission
to create jobs and investment in the
Golden Isles,” said Ryan Moore, CEO
& President, GIDA
The new warehouse facility and
office space will feature advanced
logistics and storage ca
pabilities, designed to
meet the needs of mod
ern businesses. With its
strategic location near
Interstate 95, the facility
will provide unparalleled
access to major transpor
tation routes, facilitating
efficient distribution and
operations.
“ProDirect is excited to
expand our footprint and
be the first tenant in the
Tradewinds Technology
Park. We are poised for
growth and the logistical
advantages of the Golden
Isles area will be advan
tageous to our business.
We appreciate the Gold
en Isles Development Au
thority and look forward
to a long-term partner
ship in Glynn County,”
said Kelly Mahoney, Hill
pointe, LLC
Tradewinds Technol
ogy Park is poised to
become a premier des
tination for businesses
seeking modern facili
ties and strategic advan
tages. This development
sets the stage for future
growth and positions the
Golden Isles region as a
leading hub for commerce
and innovation.
