ful kicks off a “$45 for 45” campaign
to celebrate, support and continue
45 years of Difference Making in
the Golden Isles. Supporters are in
vited to donate $45 (or more) to cel
ebrate this community betterment
anniversary.

towards a stronger and more vibrant

in our own backyard, and we want to
ensure this legacy continues.”

pends on monetary, in-kind and
volunteer support from individu
als, businesses, local governments,
civic/community organizations and
schools to provide litter prevention,
waste reduction, recycling, com
munity greening, water resource
and educational programming and
activities to Brunswick and Glynn
County citizens. Keep Golden Isles
Beautiful is a Keep America Beau
tiful and Keep Georgia Beautiful
Foundation affiliate.
Begun as “Brunswick-Glynn
County Clean Community Commis
sion” in 1979, the organization was
renamed Glynn Clean and Beauti
ful in 1987, Keep Brunswick-Golden
Isles Beautiful in 1997 and finally
Keep Golden Isles Beautiful in 2015.
A 501(C) 3 non-profit organiza
tion, Keep Golden Isles Beautiful
functions under the leadership of
a volunteer Board of Directors and
Advisory Board and a two-person
