with Bank of America and Sun Trust.
Gibbons and Hunter jointly opened
and controlled two bank accounts with
South Coast Bank and Trust. One ac
count was in their names and one ac
count was held in the name of One
Way Automotive Rentals LLC.
Fredrick opened and controlled
bank accounts with Bank of America
and Five Star Credit Union.
Money was transferred among the
members and others “unknown to the
Grand Jury” including wire transfers,
cashier’s checks, peer to peer services,
and cash payments.
The indictment states: “It was part
of the conspiracy that its members
engaged in financial transactions de
signed to conceal the true origin of the
funds and otherwise spend the illicit
proceeds, including financial transac
tions relating to the following proper
ties and mobile homes:
Danielstunstill purchased property
at 1515 Old Jesup Rd., Brunswick Feb.
14, 2022 and sold it Nov. 28, 2023.
Fredrick purchased property at
120 and 122 Joann Drive, Brunswick
March 18, 2022.
Hunter purchased property at 1700
Demere Rd Lot #134 on St. Simons Is
land, April 12, 2022.
Hunter and Hasuan purchased
property at 28 Merritt Trace, Bruns
wick, May 19, 2022.
According to the indictment the
members funneled fraud proceeds
through a rental car company One
Way Auto by purchasing automobiles.
Danielstunstill purchased a 2013
Chevrolet Tahoe later used as a rental
car for One Way Auto.
The indictment states that at Hasu-
an’s direction Danielstunstill, Lecount
and Hunter withdrew fraud proceeds
in cash and delivered it to Rocha who
served as auto broker. Rocha would
then purchase vehicles on behalf of
Hasuan and at his direction.
The members transported, stored
and registered vehicles as well as ob
tain and transfer titles.
They used fraud proceeds to pay
for auto maintenance to conceal the
source of the funds.
Hunter paid $18,336 to repair and
service a 2014 Maserati on Aug. 9,
2022.
Danielstunstill, Lecount and War
ren served as “secretaries” for the mon
ey laundering conspiracy and tracked
fraud proceeds transferred between
and among accounts, co-conspirators
and others.
Hunter and Gibbons formed the
Georgia-based limited liability com
panies on behalf of Hasuan including
One Way Automotive Rentals LLC.
Gibbons provided payroll services and
prepared and submitted tax filings on
behalf of one Way Automotive Rentals
LLC.
The indictment states that mem
bers profited from the money launder
ing conspiracy and received a cut of
the proceeds or personally benefit by
payment of rent, utilities and other
expenses.
