Tuesday, December 3 - Tour de
Grinch sponsored by the Glynn Coun
ty Police Department. For three weeks
the GCPD will tour mainland and is
land neighborhoods with Santa rid
ing the fire
truck and
the Grinch
traveling
behind in a
police car.
Kids can
meet and
chat with
Santa, the
Grinch,
police of
ficers and
firefighters.

will host Coastal Science Symposium
Campus Center on the Brunswick
campus.
The annual event brings together
students, faculty, collaborators, and
community members to explore coast
al and marine research, management,
conservation, and more.

is Dr. David Pat
terson, a biol
ogy professor at
the University
of North Geor
gia and head of
the SCALE Lab,
which studies
ecological com
munity and land
scape evolution.

Island. Join Santa for holiday fun with
a visit to the Winter Carnival and Big
Truck Roundup. Kids can enjoy free
carnival rides, games, and music on
the Village Green. Plus, sit behind
the wheel of emergency vehicles from
Jekyll Island Fire/EMS and Georgia
State Patrol at Great Dunes
Beach Park.

hold a Service of Remembrance.

their Annual Fendig Family
Christmas Tour of Lights. The
90-minute tour will be offered
daily from mid-end of December.
Hop aboard the trolley to enjoy some
of the most magnificent light displays
found on St. Simons Island.

City of Brunswick’s Annual Christ
mas Parade begins at Howard Coffin
Park.
Throughout December In His
toric Downtown Brunswick, walk
or drive along Newcastle Street any
evening after dark to experience the
annual Festival of Lights, which is a
fantastic static light display. Newcas
tle Street will be lit up from G Street
to Hanover Park. The fifteen-minute
shows will run for an hour twice a
night on Friday and Saturday eve
nings throughout December.

a.m. a new event at Ashantilly Center.
