A Paying
Investment
It seems that an oil mill located
iere would be one of as good pay
ng investments as could be et
ddished.
Why not get busy and have tin
mil ready for this season’s crop
»f send.
Have we not enough euterpris
ig citizens in town and surround
ing country to put an oil mill ii
iperntiou lure? Sure we have
I'hen why put it off?
Is there not plenty of seed pro
luced in the county to sustain tin
■ rganization? Judging from tin
juantity shipped from here foi
>ur or five seasons past, then
voukl be an ample supply.
It would furnish employment to
lumbers of people who have to dt
'end entirely upon t heir daily labor
o maintain themselves and
amities.
It would be profitable to its
dockholders; an t would be one ot
the best enterprises to build the
town that could be erected.
With a well organized baud of
mr leading business men and sub
itantiai planters standing nt its
ie<.d, it would certainly be a
success; thereby enabling the town
to offer better inducements in sev
eral ways.
Our mercantile establishments
ami other business enterprise?
would cater to an enormous tradt
that has heretofore been going out
of the county.
Let some of our most enterpris
ng citizens get busy and apply for
i charter at once for an oil mill to
>e erected here.
