Bank Cort rtented
Mr. J. W. P<f ft Chief Bank
Examiner for the six states com
posing this district, dropped by
here enroute from Florida recent
ly; and complimented the First
National Bank officials of Colquitt,
on the almost super-human efforts
made in behalf of the institution.
Adjustments and re-adjustments
have been essential; but patrons of
the bank have cheerfully co-oper
ated with the efficient president
Mr. L. E. Calhoun, and the es
| teemed cashier, Mr. G. C. Jinks,
'thereby facilitating their work.
Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Deßary, liv
ing near the Grimes School, have
been extremely anxious about their
children. Three of them were
stricken with scarlet fever. Un
der the careful treatment of Dr.
W. C. Hoys they are now conva
i lescing nicely. This disease was
hard to control in olden times, hut
in late years physicians have learn
. ed how to arrest terrible
malady.
