(19075) Jimmie Ward HULL - Jimmie Lou Ward, 80, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015. A native of Madison County, she was the wife of the late Harvey Lee Ward and daughter of the late Dorsey Brown and Lounette Yarborough Brown. She was a member of Hull Baptist Church and a home maker. Family was most impor tant in her life and she was a very dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her chil dren, Cheryl Fleming, Brad Ward, and Tina (Frankie) Cleveland; grandchildren, Trey and Taylor Cleveland, Cierra Lukers, Ginger (Keith) Free, and Summer (Chuck) Pearson; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held Thursday, June 25, at Hull Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Crowe and Jim Olds and brother Frankie Cleveland officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Whitfield was born on February 18, 1965, in Hall County, the son of Billy Joe Whitfield and Brenda England Green. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Whitfield was a carpenter. Survivors in addition to his parents, include his loving wife of 10 Vi years, Donna Moon Whitfield, Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Michael Sanders, Kingswood, W.Va.; daughter, Sarah Lovejoy, Loganville; sons, B. J. Whitfield, Commerce, and Justin Lee, Alto; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Tony Simmons, Alto, Daphne and Randy Stiles, Clermont, and Tiffany Green and Michael Pugh, Lexington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Matt and Jere Lynn Whitfield, Cleveland, David and Deborah Green, Washington, Ga., and Heath and Jennifer Green, Pearson, Fla.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 28, at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Lula, with the Rev. Chris Porter offi ciating. (499) Damon Wilson CROSS, S.C. - Randall Damon Wilson, 49, departed this life on Sunday, June 21, 2015, fol lowing a sud den illness. He was born March 13, 1966, and was raised in Jackson County, Ga. He later moved to Winder and worked for Terry Crowe at Terry’s Construction Company. In 2014 Damon moved to Cross, S.C., to be with his par ents , where he loved to spend a lot of time fishing and cooking for family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Laprather Randolph Wilson; and grandparents, Sheddie and Mary Sue Wilson, and Lonnie and Maggie Jones. Damon was a wonderful and loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Survivors include his mother and father, Sara Ann Crowe and James Terry Crowe; brothers and sister-in-law, John Wilson, and Townley and Stacey Wilson; sisters, Lisa Lyles and April Kinman; nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.
