The Founders of our Country realized that the Constitution would only be ratified if our most valued freedoms were guaranteed through the Bill of Rights. The First Amendment to our Constitution guarantees five of those freedoms, including the freedom to practice our religion, and the freedom of speech. This week we have the great privilege to celebrate our freedoms. To remember what makes our Country different from any other. To remember the great sacrifices that have been made throughout our history to secure these freedoms for us. To remember that God’s hand of providence has always been on this great Country, and that continues to this day. We are blessed. May freedom continue to ring!
