parcels of Lands wen- mortgaged to the said Daniel
McDougald on the 10th day of February, in the year
of our Lord one thousand right hundred and thirty-six,
to secure and save the said Daniel McDougald from
all responsibility, as first endorser, upon a promissory
note for sixteen nundmJ dollars, dated on the eigth day
of February, in the year last aforesaid, and due twelve
months thereafter. And whereas it further appears to
! ihe Court that there is now due and nrrpnid on said
promissory note and mortgage th sum of sixteen hun
dred dollars, principal, and the stun of twenty-six dol
lars and sixty-six cents, interest theron, up to this date,
and also the sum of three dollars protest fee. It is
therefore on motion of Campbell, McDougald & Harris,
petitioner’s attorney. Ordered by the Court that tltc
said Nathan P. Willard do pay into the Clerk’s office
of said Court, the whole amount of principal, interest
and cost due on said mortgage, within six months from
the date thereof, or shew cause why he should not. and
that in default thereof the Equity of Redemption of
the said Nathan P. Willard, in and to the said mort
gaged premises, be thenceforth forever barred and fore
closed. and that such other proceedings be had thereon
in conformity with the statute in sucti cast s made and
provided. And it is further Ordered that a copy of
this rule be served upon said mortgager, his special
agent or attorney, at least three months previous to the

Gaines. The country on both sides the rim- for 40 or

Roanoke will certainly command the greater part of
