Community churches announce
events for members and the public
Andrew United
Methodist
Andrew United Methodist Church
has various activities and worship
services that we wish to share with
folks in our community during the
advent season.
Our Wednesday night supper, Dec.
7, beginning at 6:30 p.m., will fea
ture Mexican food. Newcomers are
invited to join us for an evening of
fellowship and some greanree food!
On Saturday, Dec. lO.tjT- 8 p.m.,
we will open our doors for the
Houston County "Tour of
Churches”; this will be ouf second
year of participation. We would
like to invite area residents to come
and see what God can do with a
"mobile home church," and learn
about our new building, currently
under construction in the pecan
grove.
Sunday, Dec. 11, at the 11 a.m.
worship service, the chancel choir
will present their Christmas music,
"A Season For Alleluias". At 7
p.m., Dec. 11, the youth choir will
present "Bom Is The King".
Worship services are scheduled at
8:30 and 11 a.m. on Sunday morn
ings. Sunday School begins at
9:45 a.m.. Nursery care is pro
vided.

held on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m.
It will include a play entitled "An
Old-Fashioned Christmas", by
Linda Beach.
