Community churches announce events for members and the public Andrew United Methodist Andrew United Methodist Church has various activities and worship services that we wish to share with folks in our community during the advent season. Our Wednesday night supper, Dec. 7, beginning at 6:30 p.m., will fea ture Mexican food. Newcomers are invited to join us for an evening of fellowship and some greanree food! On Saturday, Dec. lO.tjT- 8 p.m., we will open our doors for the Houston County "Tour of Churches”; this will be ouf second year of participation. We would like to invite area residents to come and see what God can do with a "mobile home church," and learn about our new building, currently under construction in the pecan grove. Sunday, Dec. 11, at the 11 a.m. worship service, the chancel choir will present their Christmas music, "A Season For Alleluias". At 7 p.m., Dec. 11, the youth choir will present "Bom Is The King". Worship services are scheduled at 8:30 and 11 a.m. on Sunday morn ings. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m.. Nursery care is pro vided. International City First Born Our Chrisunas progrtun will be held on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. It will include a play entitled "An Old-Fashioned Christmas", by Linda Beach. First Baptist Hayneville The church choir, "Higher Ground", will present their Christ mas musical, "He Is Here", ar rangement by Randy Bozeman, Minister of Music. From the birth of Christ to the days of His miraculous healings, you will experience first hand the ex citement of these events.
