Wednesday, December 7,1994, Houston Times-Journal Page 4B Fowler and Correll become man and wife Allison Corinne Fowler of Simpsonville, S.C. and Victor Crosby Correll, 111, of Augusta were married on Saturday, Nov. 26, 1994 at 5 p.m. in the Clear Spring Baptist Church in Simpsonville. Allison is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Fowler of Simpsonville, S.C. Victor is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Correll Jr. of Perry. The Rev. Thomas Mellette officiated. Wedding music was provided by Larry Loftis, organist, and Betty Goodwin, soloist. The bride wore a traditional gown of white matte satin. Designed with a basque bodice and featured a V-portrait neckline and long, tapered sleeves ending at points at the wrist. The gown was adorned with silk, Venice lace and clusters of seed pearls. Front of the full skirt was accented with pleats, and the gathers at the back extended into a semi-cathedral length train. A fingertip, double veil of imported English illusion with finishing edges was gathered to a satin headpiece of a bow effect and was enhanced with rows of pearls. The bouquet was a Biedermeier styled bouquet of white roses and stephanotis. The bouquet was accented with cascading ribbons of pearls and stephanotis. The Maton of Honor was Christie Colvin of Middletown, R. Maid of Honor was Genie Cunningham of Simpsonville, S. Bridesmaids were: Dana Goodwin of New London, Conn., cousin of the bride; Melissa Fowler of Simpsonville, S.C., sister-in-law of the bride; Amy Correll and Maggie Correll of Perry, sisters of the groom; Andralee Capitnn of Pleasant, S.C.; Laura Graydon of Fountin Inn, S.C. and Cindy Chandler of Greenwood, S.C. The Best Man was Victor Correll Jr., father of the groom. Bloodworth, from 2B Potts, Martha Ann Rhodes and Bunny Roberts. In May, the groom’s mother hosted a Bridal Tea at her Perry home and Peggy and Sidney Bledsoe and Jane and Ted Perfect entertained with a picnic supper at the Bledsoe home. Virginia Pickering. Great grandparents are Annie Ruth Boler and die hue Watt Boler of Perry j' | \ a W vO l fm:m Tammy Hammonds Hammonds recognized by institute Tammy Hammonds of Perry was recently recognized for completion of a training program in general clerical work by Roosevelt Warm Spring Institute for Rehabilitation. Hammonds was one of three stu dents from across the state who had successfully completed vocational preparation training at the facility. The certificates were presented dur ing graduation ceremonies held Nov. 4 at the institute's campus in Warm Springs. Hammonds' job training was in the institute's business education department and in the yards and grounds office. While at the insti tute, she served on the student council as a representative from her dormitory floor and on the recre ation committee. She was a volunteer in the recreation department and in the dormitory was often busy helping other students. She was a student judge in the dormitory's student court and also was a students athlete, participating in the Victory Gaines. Hammonds also received her CPR certificate in November. s£tn«.
