Alissa Storey to wed
Thomas C. Stanley

Mrs. Tommy Storey of Perry,
announce the engagement of their
daughter, Alissa Paige Storey of
Columbia, S.C., to Thomas
Chandler Stanley, son of Mr. and
Dr. Joseph C. Stanley of Loris,
S.C.
The bride-elect is the
granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy
Everett of Mobile, Ala., the late
Travis W. Storey of Columbus, and
the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul T.
Ratcliffe of Perry.
The groom-elect is the grandson
of Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Ernst of
Wilmington, N.C., Mrs. Virginia
Johnston of Atlanta, and the late
Delta Kappa Gamma chapter gets charter
Delta Kappa Gamma as Gamma
Omicron, the 87th chapter of Psi
State, was chartered March 11 in an
impressive ceremony at the New
Perry Hotel.
Two years ago, Alpha Lambda
voted to sponsor a chapter of Delta
Kappa Gamma in Houston County.
Under the direction of expansion
chairman Lenora Rudeseal and state
president Jean barber, 15 members
fulfilled Alpha Lambda's goal and
became charter members of Gamma
Omicron.

Miss Howard is the daughter of

of arts degree in accounting. She
was a member of the Delphian
Society sorority. She is presently
employed with Arthur Andersen in
Columbia, S.C.
Thomas also graduated cum
laude from Furman University with
a bachelor of arts degree in
accounting and Asian studies. He is
presently a student in the law
school of the University of South
Carolina in Columbia. He was a
member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.
The wedding will take place at 6
p.m. May 20 at the First Baptist
Church, Perry.
The charter members are: Lynn

Mr. Ross is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. A.F. Ross of Valdosta. He is
the grandson of the late Mr. and
Mrs. A. A. Ross of Sumner and the
late Mr. and Mrs. T.P. Hand of
Tifton. He received an Avionic
Technician Degree from Spartan
School of Aeronautics and is
employed by the Department of
Corrections in Oleethome
