' Perry police have recovered more
tiian half the stereo equipment taken
from Tommy's Tunes April 3 and
charged three local residents with
burglary.

Qaptain Mike Pheil, Andrew
William Kakritz and Steven
Leonard Waszcak of Ashley Drive
aihd Brad Calvin Mullis of a Nicole
Court address have been charged in
that break-in.
'• Some 10-15 pieces of new
equipment had been reported
missing.
; Houston County Sheriff's
Investigator Jon Holland said
Kakritz and Mullis, along with
Brian Ellingburg of Elizabeth Street
have been linked to a March 28
burglary of a Langston Road
residence.
;■ Authorities arriving at the scene
front door of the home had been
kicked open and several weapons,
including handguns, knives and two
swords, were missing.
; Holland said some of those
items have been recovered.
: Kakritz has also been charged
with one count of entering an auto
by county authorities.
55 Alive course set
A ARP will conduct a 55 ALIVE
Mature Driving Course at the Perry
Hospital on April 27 and 28, in the
hospital dining room at 6 p.m. each
night.
;The 55 ALIVE Driving Course
is ppen to all persons 50 years old
ami over. If one spouse is age 50,
the other spouse may take the
ccfijrse if he or she is 49.
:55 ALIVE is the oldest driver
improvement course now being
taught. This course is designed to
help older drivers compensate for
the deterioration of seeing, hearing
aril response time due to aging.
;The cost of the course is SB.
The course will be taught by Frank
Skye, a certified instructor for the
5.5 ALIVE course.
