more or less, according to a plat made by

Said sale will be conducted and a
deed executed to the purchaser pursuant
to the powers contained in a deed to
secure debt from ROBERT J. WESSELS
TO JOHN HANSON SAVINGS BANK,
F S B , dated May 6, 1988 and recorded
in Deed Book 806, Page 725, Clerk's
Office. Houston Superior Court. Said
Deed to Secure Debt secures a
Promissory Note from ROBERT J. WES
SELS to JOHN HANSON SAVINGS
BANK, F. 5.8., dated December 31, 1986.
in the amount of $234,000.00, together
with interest from that date as stated in
the terms of said note, which Deed to
Secure Debt, by virtue of the open-end
provisions therein contained, also
secured a Loan Modification Agreement
from ROBERT J. WESSELS to JOHN
HANSON SAVINGS BANK, F.S.B. in the
amount of $66,000.00.
NORTHWEST LOAN SERVICING,
INC. by transfer and assignment, is the
owner and holder of said Note and of said
Deed to Secure Debt which secures the
same.
Said ROBERT J. WESSELS is in
default due to his failure to pay the debts
due NORTHWEST LOAN SERVICING,
INC. Because of said default and failure
to make payments when due. and in
accordance with provisions of said Note,
Loan Modification Agreement and said
Deed to Secure Debt, the undersigned
has exercised its option to declare the
remainder of the debt due and collectible,
the power of sale contained in said Deed
to Secure Debt has become operative.
The said ROBERT J WESSELS has
been notified in writing that the provisions
in said Note and Loan Modification
Agreement relative to the payment of
attorney's fees will be enforced.
Said sale will be conducted subject to
the 1995 State and County aql valorem
taxes, any special assessments affecting
said property, a deed executed to the pur
chaser subject to the above, and the pro
ceeds applied in accordance with the
provisions of said deed to secure debt.

The conduct that gave rise to the
seizure of the above described property
is as follows;
On or about August 25, 1994, officers
from the Perry Police Department in con
junction with the Georgia Bureau of
Investigation conducted an investigative
traffic stop on a 1991 Chevrolet Corsica
in reference to an ongoing narcotics
investigation. The driver of the vehicle
was identified as Willie Robinson. The
front passenger was identified as Gloria
Gaston and the rear passenger as
Kenneth Lester. A search of the vehicle
produced a large quantity of crack
cocaine, one (1) set of Tanita digital
scales, one (1) Panasonic digital pager,
and one (1) Uniden cellular telephone.
Kenneth Lester was found to be in pos
session of $895.71 in United States cur
rency and one (1) gold necklace. Gloria
Gaston was in possession of SBB.OO in
United States currency. Willie Robinson
was found to be in possession $340.88 in
United States currency and one (1)
Motorola pager.
On or about August 25, 1994, officers
from the Perry Police Department in con
junction with the Georgia Bureau of
Investigation executed search warrants at
501-A and 505-B Coventry Court, Perry,
Houston County. Georgia. In addition to a
large quantity of cocaine, the following
items were seized from 505-A Coventry
Court; 57.860.00 in United States curren
cy, one (1) Mossberg ,12 gauge shotgun
with twelve (12) rounds of ammunition,
one (1) Motorola cellular telephone with
leather case, one (1) .32 caliber revolver,
and one (1) .22 caliber revolver. The fol
lowing items were seized form 505-B
Coventry Court; one (1) Ohaus triple
beam scale and one (1) Sharp
microwave oven. One (1) 1986 Ford pick
up truck belonging to Willie Robinson
was discovered at Wayne Morris Ford
and subsequently seized.
This property is forfeitable under
O.C.G.A. 16-1349(d)(2),(3), (4), and (6) in
that it was found in close proximity to the
contraband, represents proceeds from
illegal drug activity, and was possessed,
used, or available for use to facilitate a
violation of the Georgia Controlled
Substances Act.
You are hereby notified that you must
file an answer to the forfeiture action
which complies with O.C.G.A. 16-13-
49(o), within thirty (30) days of the date of

NOTICE OF ELECTION
Pursuant to the Charter of the City of
Perry, as amended, and the Georgia
Municipal Election Code, as amended
through the regular 1995 session of the
Georgia General Assembly, election of a
councilman for the unexpired term of
Frank H. Roper, Council District 3, Post 1,
said term to expire on December 31,
1997, shall be held under the following
terms and conditions:
1. Said election to be held on the
Tuesday next following the first Monday in
November, 1995, to-wit: November 7,
1995.
2. In the event a runoff election is nec
essary, said runoff election will be held on
Tuesday, November 21, 1995.
3. The conduct of the election or any
necessary runoff election
shall be held pursuant to the provi
sions of the laws of the State of Georgia
as enacted and amended. Provided fur
ther, the Charter provisions of the City of
Perry Charter and amendments thereto
shall be in force and effect where same
were not repealed or modified by the laws
of the State of Georgia.
4. For the purpose of this election, or
any necessary runoff election, the office
of the Clerk of the City of Perry is desig
nated as the office of the municipal
superintendent of the election. The
municipal superintendent, and poll offi
cials shall be named and designated by
the governing authority of the City of
Perry and the names thereof shall be
entered in the minutes of the City of Perry
prior to the holding of this election or any
necessary runoff election.
5. Optical scanning equipment shall
be used for the conduct of this election or
any necessary runoff election.

any necessary runoff election shall be in
the National Guard Armory in the City of
Perry, Georgia.
7. Each candidate for the office shall
file notice of his or her candidacy in said
office of the municipal superintendent on
or before September 15, 1995 at 4:30
o'clock p.m., but not prior to September
11,1995 at 8:30 o'clock a.m. A candidate
must meet the residency requirements as
set forth in Section 2.11 of the City of
Perry Charter.
8. The hours of the election shall be
between 7 o'clock a.m. and 7 o'clock p.m.
on said November 7,1995. In the event a
runoff election becomes necessary, said
runoff election shall be between 7 o'clock
a.m. and 7 o'clock p.m. on November 21,
1995.
9. The qualification fee for Council
Post is $126.00.
10 . Any person who is a resident of
the City of Perry and who is registered as
an elector with the Board of Registrars of
Houston County shall be eligible to vote
in the election or the runoff election. The
County registrar shall cease taking appli
cations for registration from persons
desiring to vote in this election on the
close of the registrar's business on
October 10, 1995. This notice relative to
application for registration and registra
tion deadline is given in accordance with
Section 21-3-123 of the Official Code of
Georgia Annotated.
11. Public notice of this election shall
be published in The Houston-Times
Journal once a week for two (2) weeks
beginning September 6,1995.
