14, 1995, at the First Baptist
Church in Centerville with Dr.
Bruce Allen officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Nelson F. Schofill of
Perry. The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Darwin Lee Peacock of
Warner Robins.
Marri Kay Durmon of Warner
Robins was maid of honor and
Shannon Barker, the bride's sister of
Byron, was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Pam Rushing
of Hinesville, Tammy James of
Atlanta, Lisa Clark of
Hawkinsville, Mary Jane Kinnas of
Youth Rodeo set for Dec. 28

The first Youth Evangelism
Rodeo will he held at the-Qeorgia
National Fairgrounds and Agrieenter
in Perry during the afternoons of
Dec. 28-30.
Approximately 15,000 youths
and their chaperones will be in
Perry during the three days, some
5,000 each day, Doug Couch, an
associate in the Georgia Baptist
Evangelism Department, said.
The rodeo will begin at 1:30
p.m. and will end at 3:30 p.m. each
day. Advance tickets for $5 may be
purchased through the Baptist
Center for Youth Evangelism in
Atlanta.
Couch, in charge of the
program, said the rodeo will begin
with a concert by Scott Brown,
currently Number 7 on the Country
Christian Chart. He will be one of
the featured riders in the rodeo.
The rodeo events will include
bareback bronco riding, calf roping,
barrel racing, clowns, bull riding,
steer wrestling, and bull fighting.
Couch said all of the riders are
Christians and many of them will
be sharing their testimony between
events.

Robins. ,
Music for the ceremony was
provided by Jeff Cleghom, pianist;
Chad Massey, chimes; and James
Dollar, soloist.
A reception was held at the
church.
After a wedding trip to the
Bahamas, die Peacocks are living in
Warner Robins.
The rodeo is part of the Baptist
Youth Evangelism Conference
which will be held at the Macon
Coliseum in two sessions. The first
is Dec.' 28-29 and the second is
Dec. 29-30, said Edna Bridges, who
is program coordinator.
According to Bridges, tickets to
the evangelism conferences are $7
in advance and $lO at the door. The
conference ticket is separate from
the rodeo ticket.
Featured speakers for the
conference at the Macon Coliseum
are Jay Strack and David Edwards,
Bridges said.
Couch said the'group music will
be led by David Crain; concerts will
be given by Mullins and Co., East
to West, and Geoff Moore and the
Distance. Jessica Simpson and
Mike Williams will also be
appearing.
Youths from throughout Georgia
will be participating, according to
Couch.
