MORNINGSIOE CLASS OF THE WEEK Janice Jackson’s second grade class at
Morningside Elementary have been studying about the environment. They have helped start
a recycling program that the whole school is participating in.

Carson and Fudge set plans
Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Carson Sr. of Woodstock announce the
engagement of their daughter, Clara Elayne, to James Robert Fudge IV,
the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Fudge 111 of Perry.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Genevieve Lester of
Marietta, and the late Mr. Lowell Lester and the late Mr. and Mrs.
Wilton B. Carson Sr. of Smyrna. She attended Etowah High School in
Woodstock and graduated from Kennesaw State College with a degree
in psychology. She is employed by CIBC, Wood Gundy as a senior
administrator in financial operations.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Mary McKinley of Unadilla,
the late Mr. Henry McKinley of Unadilla and the late Mrs. Doris
McKinley and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Robert Fudge Jr. He attended
Perry High School and graduated from the University of Georgia with
undergraduate and graduate degrees in forestry. He is employed by Law
Engineering and Environmental Services as a senior ecologist.
An April wedding is planned at Piedmont Baptist Church in Marietta,
with a reception following atTowne Lake Hills Golf Club.
