Man charged in biting
incident in county

Houston County deputies were
called to a Lake Joy residence over
the weekend in reference to a
domestic dispute that may result in
the victim needing plastic surgery
after being bitten on the forehead,
according to Sgt. Mickey Dees,
investigator with the Houston
County Sheriff’s department.
■ Dean Walker Jr.. 34, of 467
Lake Joy Road, has been charged
With aggravated battery, terroristic
threats and simple assault.
According to reports. Walker
allegedly began beating and kick
ing the female victim during an
argument at the residence. The
argument, which began inside,
later moved to the front yard
where the victim was allegedly
thrown to the ground and “bitten
tp the bone” on the forehead.
Dees called the incident “a
vicious assault."
, The report also states that the vic
tim told authorities she and Walker
had earlier smoked crack cocaine.

CITY OF PERRY, GEORGIA
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Perry, Georgia in the City Hall located
at 1207 Washington Street, Perry, Georgia 31069, until:
May 1, 1996 at 1:00 P.M. Local Time
for the sale of 2-30,000 gallon w.c. 109.725” diameter propane tanks at which time
and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids received after the designated time will not be considered.
The tank particulars are as follows:
Trinity Industries 1972
109.725” diameter
250 PSI rated at 125 degrees F.
30,000 gallon w.c.
3 bottom outlets with excess flow valves and rego gate valves
3 internal reliefs
1 each magnatel, roto, pressure and temperature gauges
Tanks sandblasted to near white, primed and painted in August of 1992.
Bids ;must be accompanied by cashiers check in the amount of 5% of the bid. The
cashiers check must be payable to the City of Perry.
The tanks are currently being used. The successful bidder will be required to
transfer any liquid in the tanks to be removed to the remaining adjacent tanks and
purge the tanks to be removed. All piping that is disconnected from the tanks to
be removed must be capped. All fencing that is disturbed must be replaced.
The successful bidder must provide proof of liability insurance. The amount of
insurance must be $1,000,000 bodily injury each occurrence and $1,000,000
property damage each occurrence.
The successful bidder must removed the tanks within 30 days after payment to the
City of Perry. Failure to do so could result in the forfeiture of payment.
The City of Perry reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
