Zack Yelton honored by Kiwanians

ing of the Perry Kiwanis Club held
at the New Perry Hotel, Zack
Yelton, fifth grade student at King’s
Chapel Elementary School, was
presented a certificate by Arthur
White, club president, under the

Harvey is counting down from
two years to retirement.
Their family has grown from
four to eight since they left Perry:
Toni, Harvey, Mark, his wife Lori,
and their children, Jordan and
Taylor Holloway, and Tina and her
husband, Dean O’Neal.
Crockett, were also guests.
Crockett spoke glowingly of Zack
Yelton as a student.
Louise Lasseter, Kiwanis Club
waitress, was recognized by the
club for being featured in an arti
cle on the New Perry Hotel in the
March issue of “Southern Living”.
In the article she was called a
“cook”;, however, Lasseter said
that she had never cooked a thing
at the Hotel.

C. E. “Buddy” Brunson Jr. also
had a daughter, Debra Nell
Brunson Reed of Suwanee, and
she has two college-age daugh
ters: Nicole at Georgia College,
and April, at Dekalb College. Mrs.
Reed’s husband is Allen Reed.
She is a first cousin to the late
Perry Detective, Maj. Giles H. Webb.
