INVITATION TO BID
The City of Perry requests bids for the
demolition of FLOOD-DAMAGED
STRUCTURES and clearance of all
debris on the sites, and clearance of
damaged trees, etc. in the area. Bid will
be received at the City Manager's Office,
1207 Washington St., Perry, GA, 31069
until 2:00 p.m. on June 10, 1996 at which
time they will be publicly opened and
read aloud.
The scope of work generally consist
of demolition of one ( 1 ) brick church
building, two (2) wood frame houses, one
(1) brick house and one (1) open storage
shed; clearance of debris on the lots,
clearance of damaged trees, etc. on
tracts of land as shown on project area
map; and grassing of cleared sites.
Federal funds will be used to finance
this work, so contractor must comply with
federal contracting requirements such as
Davis Bacon labor laws, etc.
The City is not requiring bid or perfor
mance/payment bonds from contractors.
A lump-sum payment will be made to
Contractor after completion and accep
tance of all work specified in the contract.
Contractor will have ninety (90) days to
complete all work.

packages are available at the City
Manager's office, 1207 Washington St.,
Perry, GA. 31069. There is no charge for
Bid Packets.
