Bretz plays trumpet
for music festival

Lindsey Bretz, 13 year-old sev
enth grade student at Feaser
Middle School in Middletown,
Pa„ was part of a select group of
students chosen by their music
instructors to appear at the
Hershey Community Theatre,
Hershey, Pa., recently.
She was among 12 trumpet
players ranging in age from 12-17,
who performed for the “Hershey
Kids Festival” in the afternoon,
and with the Hershey Symphony
Orchestra that evening.
The ensemble, dubbed the
“Hershey Festival Trumpets,”
played a piece from the opera
“Aida,”, by Giuseppe Verdi.
Bretz is in the Feaser Middle
School Band.
Lindsey Bretz is the daughter
of Michael and Linda Bretz of
Middletown. Pa., and the grand
daughter of Harry and Lila Bretz
of Perry.
