Sealed Proposals for construction of
the Georgia Highway 247 Water System
Improvements will be received at the
Commissioner's Board Room, Houston
County Annex, 200 Carl Vinson Parkway
in Warner Robins, Georgia until 1 1:00
A.M o'clock legal prevailing time on
Tuesday. November 26. 1996, at which
time and place they will be publicly
opened and read aloud. No bid may be
withdrawn after the closing time for the
receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60)
calendar days.
The work to be done consists of fur
nishing all materials arid equipment and
performing all labor necessary to con
struct approximately +23,000 linear feet
of water main and all incidental work
required for a complete installation.
The Work will be awarded in one con
tract.

Documents are on file and may be
obtained from Tribble & Richardson, Inc.,

upon deposit of SIOO.OO per set (non
refundable) and on file in the Macon and
Atlanta, Georgia Dodge Rooms and
Construction Market Data.
Payment of the Contract Amount will
be made on a periodic basis on applica
tions for payment from the Contractor and
approved by the Engineer based on work
accomplished, products furnished and
products stored on the site. Such progress
payment lequests shall be submitted by
the Contractor no later than the 25th day
of each month during the term of the
Contract and shall be paid by the Owner
within thirty (30) days after receipt of
approved progress payment requests, less
retainage ana other deductions provided
in the Contract Documents. Further details
concerning the payment provisions of the
Contract are contained in Article 14 of the
General Conditions of the Contract
Documents.
Licensing: Bidders must be licensed
utility contractors in accordance with the
State of Georgia Guidelines and a license
number must be placed on the exterior of
the sealed envelope and on the bid docu
ments where indicated. Sealed envelopes
without license numbers will not be
opened
Bonds: All bids must be accompanied
by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than
ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The
Successful Bidder, if awarded the
Contract, will be required to furnish a
Performance Bond and Payment Bond,
each in the amount of one hundred per
cent (100%) of the Contract amount.
' The Owner reserves the right to reject
any or all bids, to waive informalities, and
to readvertise.

The debt secured by said Security
Deed has been and is hereby declared
due because of, among other possible
events of default, failure to pay the indebt
edness as and when due and in the man
ner provided in the Note and Security
Deea. The debt remaining in default, this
sale will be made for the purpose of pay
ing the same and all expenses of this sale,
as provided in the Security Deed and by
law, including attorney's fees (notice of
intent to collect attorney's fees having
been given).

any outstanding ad valorem taxes (includ
