A business that doesn't advertise in
the ALLTEL Yellow Pages is like a building without a foundation.
To construct a building, you start with a foun
dation of steel and concrete. And to build a suc-
cessful business, you start with
a foundation of Yellow Pages
advertising.
The ALLTEL Yellow Pages
is the official directory of the
ALLTEL Telephone Company.
It's in your customers’ homes and businesses 24
hours a day. seven days a week. While other adver
tising media create initial awareness, your ad in
the ALLTEL Yellow Pages provides a long-lasting
reference that builds business from the ground up.

"He (Amerson) was in the
woods in that area for a couple of
days," said McClung
During (hat time, members of
several law enforcement agencies
combed the wiioded and swampv
area seeking Amcrson s trail
A report went out that Amerson
was possibly armed with a gun
and dangerous
McClung said no weapon has
been recovered to confirm that
Amerson was armed with a gun
Authorities stayed in close
radio contact, keeping a close eve
on all activity in the area
The night of March 14.
Amerson apparently broke into an
office at the county landfill locat
ed along Ga 247. said McClung
He then allegedly stole a coun
ty-owned water truck from that
location and traveled back to

received information that

plans are still on for the renova
tion of that building
Renovation will take place
after the construction of the new
building is complete, he added
Stafford said he is looking to
work closely with the city of
Perry in finding new occupants
for the renovated building
The authority which governs
the proposed regional jail will be
meeting to discuss the future of
that project during the month of
April, he added
Stafford said it has not been
determined whether or not the
new courthouse and jail will be
built "side by side
In some ways having the two
facilities built near each other
would be convenient, but there
arc opposing viewpoints, he said
