Puppies o * Mudd
Rumors are flying about the
Chickasaw Mudd Puppies and, as
responsible journalists, we
decided to help spread them.
Percussionist Jim McKay has
decided to leave the band because
things are getting too busy in
the Puppies' camp for his
jschedule. One reason for the
stepped up pace is the imminent
signing of the band to Texas
Hotel Records. The record deal
has not been ironed out
completely, but Brant and Ben are
working on new material in
anticipation of recording.
Slightly Blurred
A new magazine has hit the
streets of Athens. Slightly
Blurred is a
politico/musico/psycho mag put
out by Chip Shirley. It cost
only 50 cents and can be found
wherever the terminally hip
congregate. The first issue is
full of fun facts, gratuitous sex
and cartoons. Let s hope Chip
keeps up the good work.
Mojo Nya will be playing the
sounds of Jamaica at the
Uptown Lounge on Monday, June
20th.
