EVENTS ATHENS MUSIC AWARDS The 2000 Flagpole Athens Music Awards Show, designed to honor and celebrate those who make Athens a vibrant center of musical creativity and energy, will feature awards in oyer 20 categories ranging from Jazz to Country to Performer of the Year. All winners chosen by flagpole's readers. The evening will feature performances by the Star Room Boys, Japancakes, Dr. Arvin Scott, The Georgia Guitar Quartet and the Dan Nettles Band.
