PERFORMANCE
ASHFORD MANOR CONCERT SERIES Spread out on
the lawn for a picnic supper and hear some great
music. The Monday series features bluegrass and
mountain music from Packway Handle Band on

ATHFEST 2006 The 10th Annual AthFest is a cele
bration of everything Athens. AthFest returns down
town for four days and nights of music, art and film.
Boasting performances from over 100 local bands at
its outdoor stage and during the club crawl, the fes
tival also includes KidsFest. a juried artist market,
Sprockets Film ♦ Video Competition and TeenScreen
events. New this year: win at 10-day trip to Cortona,
Italy. Raffle tickets: $100. The whole thing gets
started with the Flagpole Athens Music Awards
Show on Thursday, June 22 at the Morton Theatre,

THE 4TH IN FARMINGTON The community's first
annual Independence Day celebration takes place
at the Farmington Community Center on Old
