Wells has joined the Small Business Assistance, Corporation (SBAC) as their new Communications/PR Associate. Tracy will be responsible for imple menting communica tions related projects, assist in coordinating events and will help to promote the vari ous programs offered by the SBAC. “We are pleased to bring Tracy on board. We believe her expertise and experience in marketing will strengthen our presence in Tracy Wells the business community,” stated SBAC President Tony O’Reilly. Tracy, originally from northern Indiana, has a back ground in marketing and communications. She was previously employed as Vice President of the Greater LaPorte Chamber of Commerce in LaPorte, Indiana. She and her husband Carl now reside in Rincon. Since 1989 the SBAC has been offering loan products in the City of Savannah, southeast Georgia and Low Country of South Carolina. The Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) has named the Savannah Arts Academy senior as the Regional Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Student and his instruc tor Mr. Bradley Wallace as Regional STAR Teacher. The two will now compete for the State STAR Student & Teacher Awards in Atlanta. Among his many honors, Andrew is a National Merit Scholarship Program finalist and one of 20 high school males in Georgia invited to apply for the Presidential Scholars Program. Andrew is also involved in numerous school activities includ ing the math and soccer teams and the Silver Winds Ensemble. When he's not in the classroom, band room or on the athletic field, you may find him brighten ing the lives of patients at Elospice of Savannah, where he spends time as a volunteer. Mr. Bradley Wallace is the English Department Chair at Savannah Arts Academy and teaches Advanced Placement Language and Composition courses. He is a WTOC Top Teacher award recipient and has been at SAA since 2003. Each year the PAGE STAR program selects a top academic senior from participating high schools based on out standing Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores and class stand ing.
