Please find a place on your yearly schedule to join us in June for three (3) weeks June 8th through the 27, in reaching the LOST of this city. God called this ministry into existence in 1987 to be a city - wide outreach and we have obeyed God for the past 22 years, reaching over one hundred and one thousand souls for His kingdom. The theme for the revival is “A New Spritual Birth”. The Rev. Allen O’Neal pastor of the Union Skidaway Baptist Church will bring the message for the services. Rev, Samuel Williams, Pastor Little Bryan to present Ressurection Performance LBBC Productions of the Little Bryan Baptist Church will present a Resurrection theatrical pro duction, Jesus, Son of God, "Raise the Praise",Saturday, April 4 at 7pm, at the Savannah Arts Academy, 500 Washington Ave. "Raise the Praise" is an historical account of Jesus Christ from his Conception to his Ascension. Based on the Gospel of Luke and brought alive as Luke narrates, "Raise the Praise" will be presented dramatically in song and dance capturing those very precious moments in Jesus' life and ministry where his presence invoked praise. Jesus said "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me". Praise led to the Cross- God's redemptive plan for man's salvation. We extend this invitation to all communities. Royal Church of Christ to Hold Pinning Ceremony The Royal Church Of Christ, 1902 Rogers Street Hudson Hill, invite you to witness its first "Pinning Of Badge" ceremony. St. James Choir to host trip to see The Color Purple The A.L. Washington Gospel Chorus of St. James A.M.E. Church, is sponsor ing a fun filled trip to Durham, North Carolina to enjoy Oprah Winfrey's play entitled "The Color Purple." This great event will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2009. The trip is for one day and departure and return time will be announced very soon. This exciting bus trip will include a continental breakfast and snacks provid ed by the choir. In order to assure great seats, we MUST receive a deposit in the amount of $90 as soon as possible. The remaining payment of $90 is due on April 1. The total amount of the trip is $180. Fifth Street Baptist to hold Spring Revival Fifth Street Baptist Church, 19 Sterling Street, will have its annual Spring Revival April 1-3, at 7pm nightly. On Wednesday, April 1- Minister Beliziare Joseph, and the Piney Grove Baptist Church will be in charge. Thursday, April 2- Minister Vernon Galloway and the Second Mt Pleasant Baptist Church will be in charge. Friday, April 3- Minister Oldie Luckett and the Clifton Baptist Church will be in charge. Native Savannahian and Connor's Temple mem ber, Joseph Conyers, a renowned bassist and mem ber of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will be the fea tured artist at the Palm Sunday Musical at Connor's Temple Baptist Church on April 5, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. Also appearing on the program will be the Connor's Temple Combined Choir and the Angels of Mercy Liturgical Dancers. This musical will commence Holy Week services. On Monday, April 6, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Bennie R. Mitchell, Jr. and the Connor's Temple congre gation will be in charge of the Resurrection Week serv ices at Jesus First Christian Community Fellowship Church where the Rev. Eric Mason is Pastor. Beginning on Tuesday, April 7 thru Thursday, April 9, 2009, Spring Revival will be held at Connor's Temple Baptist Church starting nightly at 7:00 p.m. Rev. John Williams, Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia, will be the Revivalist. The “Seven Last Words” will be spoken on Friday, April 10, 2009 start ing at 7:00 p.m. Holy Week Services will culminate on Easter Sunday with Sunday School at 8:30 a.m., Worship Service at 10:00 a.m. and the Sunday School Easter Program at 11:45 a.m. The public is cordially invited to attend and be a part of these services.
