Future CEO On The Rise:
Christopher A. Manor Promoted To
General Manager

Christoper A. Manor
joined Stafford Hospitality
October 2009. With his
desire to grow in the hospital
ity industry, he is a full time
student at University of
South Carolina, Bluffton,
Carolina and is majoring in
Hospitality Management.
Chris has served in several
areas of the Hospitality
Industry within Savannah,
GA.
After joining Stafford
Hospitality as the Assistant
General Manager, his strong
work ethic and dedication
thrusted him to the forefront,
and he was promoted to
General Manager of Quality
Inn Savannah Midtown at the
young age of 28 years old.
In his free time, he
enjoys playing his trombone
in the United House of
Prayer’s Praise Band. To his
Masonic family, he is known
as Past Master Manor. He is
the treasurer for Prince Hall
Lodge #28.
Manor is a devoted hus
band, father and family man.
He is also a mentor for young
men at Youth Challenge
Academy in Ft. Gordon, GA.
Chris’ motto in life is “Do
what you have to do, so you
can do what you want to do”.

Featheringill Promoted to Senior
Program Manager
Paul Featheringill
The Savannah
Development and Renewal
Authority (SDRA) is pleased
to announce the promotion
of Paul Featheringill to the
position of Senior Program
Manager.
A native of Mount
Pleasant, South Carolina,
Mr. Featheringill joined the
staff of the SDRA in 2005 as
a Program Specialist guiding
the IT activities of the
authority and overseeing the
activities of the Business and
Property Resource Center.
In 2008, Mr.
Featheringill was promoted
to Program Manager. In this
capacity he administered
SDRA’s business and proper
ty development programs,
and various committee activ
ities. Mr. Featheringill was
instrumental in the develop
ment and administration of
the Digital Divide Program
for the MLK and
Montgomery Street Corridor,
and in the development and
administration of the
Downtown Brand and
Marketing Program.
Mr. Featheringill has a
Bachelor’s Degree in
Political Science from the
University of South Carolina
along with a Master’s
Degree in Public
Administration and a
Master’s Degree in Political
Science from the University
of Georgia.
Mr. Featheringill has
worked in the field of
Downtown Development
and Revitalization for sever
al years. He began working
for the Downtown
Development Authority in
Decatur, Georgia in 2002 and
for several years worked for
the Downtown Development
Authority in Athens, Georgia
where he was responsible for
outreach to business and
property owners and a vari
ety of other program activi
ties.
Mr. Featheringill was
appointed to the position of
Senior Program Manager on
January 1, 2010. In this posi
tion, Mr. Featheringill will
serve as the Executive
Director’s right hand in mat
ters of budgeting, program
development and oversight.
SDRA is a public authority
tasked to lead a coordinated
strategy of economic devel
opment and civic design to
strengthen Greater
Downtown Savannah, with
emphasis on the MLK and
Montgomery Street Corridor
and the Broughton Street
Urban Redevelopment Area.
In recommending Mr.
Featheringill for this posi
tion, SDRA Executive
Director Lise Sundrla noted
that “Mr. Featheringill has
proven indispensable in a
number of areas critical to
sustaining and growing
SDRA’s programs. His dedi
cation to SDRA and to our
mission is evident and appre
ciated.”
