Knoxvdle must have a good cottrin market next fall, or she will be nothing in future but a cross-roads place where they hold Superior court. There is more hope for a town that has no railroad than for one that has a railroad and whose business men will not handle cotton. Tiers are times whena feeling of lassi¬ tude will overcome the most robust, whsn Ui» system craves far pure blood, to fur¬ nish the elements of health and strenghl. The best remedy for purifying the blood is Dr. J. H. McLean’s Sarsayarilla. John Smith, the barber, has opened a branch shop at Cullodcn, where he will work on Saturdays. Swift’s Speeifi is a simple vegetable compound, prepared from roots gathered freshly from the forest and contains noth¬ ing of the mineral kingdom or any poison¬ ous substance or any article at all which comes from the chemist's labratory. The formula of the remedy was obtained from tbe Greek Indians’ in Middle Ga. by reliable, white men, who had witnessed tho wonderful cures made by that tribe of Indians of blood dipeaso. Mr Hugh L Dennard of Houston Go Ga, began using Bivift’s Specific in 1829 and continued its use all his life and asserted that t,e had never known it to fail to cure any case of scofula blood taint or contagions blood poi¬ son. This testimony has been corrohara ted every day for years. The present Com¬ pany was formed in 1879 and have since made known to tho world the virluros of Swift’s Specific and to-day it is sold in ev ery city, town and country store all over America Great Britian, and many other portions of .the world. I have seen Swift’s Specific used and known of many cases of tho worst form of blood diseases which have been cured bj r it I know the proprietors to be gentlemen of the highest type and utmost reliability.
