She leaves two small children, her !

eternal gain. Sister Deason suffered
much during her illness, all of which
she bore with potiece and Christian for
titude without a murmur. The last
request she ever made was for the bible
to be read and prayer offered, and the
chapter was real';, but before the prayer
was offered she calmly fell asleep in j
Jesus.
But now she is gone to be with us no ।
more in this world, but we feel sure!
that she is cow enjoying the reward of j
the righteous and liymg in the sun
shine of immortal glory : and that she
has left an example worth}' of imita
tion, Therefore be it Resolved,
First, That we humbly bow in sub
mission to Him who docth all things
well, and we will strive to emulate her I
life by living to the honor ami glory of ।
our blessed Master, that we may meet |
her where the faithful part no more. I
Resolved Second, That in her death
her children lose a kind and loving
mother, her husband an affectionate
