The county court of this coun
ty was in session Monday and
tried two cases for violating the
game and fish law. Two men
plead guilty to hunting without
permission and were fined $lO
and costs. The others came
clear for shooting ducks, which :
they claimed were not the sum
mer ducks.

DR. LINDSEY DIES SUD
DENLY.
The news of the sudden death
of Dr. Ralph Lindsey, of Moul
trie, was a shock to the people
of this town when it was re
ceived here last Thursday. He
went to Atlanta from his home
at Moultrie last Wednesday to
have a small operation preform
ed and died under the influence
of the ether just as soon as he
was put to sleep.
Dr. Lindsey was the son of
Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Lindsey of
near here, and was well known
by everybody of this town, as
he was raised near here and
went to school here until he was
grown. He had lots of friends
who were very sorry to learn of
his death. *
He is survived by a wife, two
small sons, mother, father and
two sisters.
His remains was carried to
Moultrie Thursday night and
buried at that place Friday aft
ernoon. Col. J. W. Lindsey, Mr.
E. C. Lindsey and Miss Annie
Lindsey of this place attended
the funeral.
