National Honor Society
inducted 25 new members
during a candlelight cere
mony April 19. The cere
mony was the highlight of a
long process in which the
inductees were chosen.
The 1999 inductees were

Houston Lake Country Club and was honored with a

Mr. PHS to be chosen May 20

The seeond annual will be held on May 20 at
8;00pm. The production will be held in the Perry High
School auditorium and is sponsored by the Perry High
School Varsity basketball team.
Seventeen young men will via for the title of Mr. PHS on
Thursday night Pageant seniors are Dwayne Heard, Jeb
Stewart, Kuma -Davis, Kit Kitchens, Mason Simpson.
Elijah Simpson. Jonaathon Hayes, and David Talley. Kris
Asbury is representing the junior class. Philip Gentry,
Tyronn Lane, and Ronald Ragin are the sophomore
entries, while Caleb White and Nathan Mitchell are the
freshman class representatives.
A large crowd, cheering for their favorite contestant, is
expected to attend. Admission is $3.00 per person. For
more information, call Perry High School at 988-6298.
