“Terrific"! It was David

Kistlers provide perfect setting for
tropical social, lemon bread recipe
By JOAN DORSETT

No need to make that
long flight across the
Pacific Saturday evening
for our Supper Club to
have a Hawaiian luau.
Dick and Dottle Kistler had
the perfect setting in their
backyard beside their pool
underneath what seemed
like (with Just a little imag
ination) huge banyan
trees.
Guests were T.J. and
Mary Alice McAfee from
Jacksonville (former sup
per clubbers when they
lived in Perry) and Dr. Jack
and Hazel Patton.
Everyone wore their
most colorful tropical
attire and beautiful flow
ers, fresh fruits and can
dles were accompanied by
Hawaiian music on the CD
player. You get the picture.
The menu included pork
roast which (with a little
more imagination) could
have been plucked from a
roasted suckling pig.
Sandra Hunt's Hawaiian
Lemon Bread was perfect
to tie together the vegeta
bles and fresh fruit.
