League, began a three
game playoff series June
21 with Tolleson Supply,
winners of the first half of
the season.
Pitchers with the best
records for the season
were Josh Davidson of
Tolleson and Josh O’Neal
of Alltel. Both finished 5-2.
Shane Ashley of Kiwanis
had 89 strikeouts in 49
Innings.
Jordy Stokes was the
leading home run hitter
with 6 . He plays for Alltel.
Dusty Denton of Tolle
son took the batting title
with a .538 average. Sec
ond were Daniel Peake of
MMM, CPA, and Stephen
James of Alltel with a .500
average.
Others in the top 10
were Timmy McCoy,
MMM, CPA .442; Bruce
Vance, Tolleson, .436;
Brandon Doles, Baxter.

Bruce Vance of Tolleson
managed a home run, a

scored.
Ryan Crum of Alltel had
a two-run. home run
against Kiwanis. Shane
Ashley recorded 11 strike
outs for Kiwanis.

DOG TAGS
In accordance with Article II of the Perry City Code, notice Is hereby given that all dogs with
in the City of Perry must be registered in the office of the Tax Clerk no later than July 1,1999.
Before a registration tag is issued, the owner or custodian must lumlsh the Tax Clerk with a
current innoculatlon certificate from a licensed veterinarian. The cost of each tag is $5.00
and each tag must be property secured to a cottar and worn around the neck of the dog at
all times. Puppies must be registered by 12 weeks of age.
Dog owners or custodians who shall violate the provision of Article II of the Perry City Code
shall be guilty of an offense against the City of Perry and upon conviction thereof in the
Municipal Court of the City of Perry shall be fined accordingly
Remember, dog tags are valid only from July Ist to June 30th of each year
