Robins, in a double-ring
ceremony at the Perry Unit
ed Methodist Church on
June 12. 1999. The Rev.
Dr. Marcus V. Tripp offici
ated.
Wedding music was pro
vided by Deborah Walker,
pianist; Nancy Joiner,
organist, and Pat McCall,
violinist.
Escorted into the
church's sanctuary to the
music of "Surely the Pres
ence of the Lord" were the
bride’s grandparents. Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph L. Bacon
of Perry and Mrs. James
Allen Posey of Junction
City, and the groom’s
grandmother, Mrs. William
L. Reedy Jr. of Centerville.
Shelly Creely sang “How
Beautiful," and a vocal
duet, ‘The Lord's Prayer,"
with her husband Troy
Creely. A bell sonata pre
ceded the processional,
“Canon in D," and bridal
processional followed with
the selection, "Trumpet Vol
untary"
Carol Whitaker present
ed a reading entitled, "Mar
riage Blessing." Concluding
the ceremony was the
recessional, “Psalm 19."
The wedding was directed
by Mrs. Earl Marshall.
Laura Posey of Perry, sis
ter of the bride, served as
maid of honor, and Beth
Cramer of Augusta was
matron of honor. Brides
maids were Jan Paris of
Warner Robins sister-in
law of the groom; Anna
Powell of Macon; Alex Cloud
of Atlanta and Amy Fincher
of Atlanta.
Program attendants were

The bride, . escorted by
her father, wore a gown by
Jasmine made of white Ital
ian matte satin. Featuring
capped sleeves and a
square neckline, the gown's
bodice was made of tradi
tional lace and
beaded with iridescent
sequins and seed pearls.
The empire waist flowed
into an A-line skirt. The
chapel length train's car
riage back was made of
tulle trimmed in
lace. Matching the tulle fab
ric of the train, the bride’s
veil was elbow length with a
blusher Joined to a white
satin tiara headpiece
encrusted with sequins and
seed pearls. She carried a
bouquet was a garden clus
ter of pink Anna roses
accented with English ivy
and pink French wired rib
bons.
The groom and grooms
men wore morning coats of
gray with a single button at
the waist and broad tail at
the back accompanied with
a winged-collared shirt,
ascot and gray trousers.
The groomsmen were John
Cramer of Augusta; Mike
Paris, brother of the groom,
of Atlanta; William W. Paris,
brother of the groom, of
Warner Robins, and Mark
Powell of Macon. The
groom’s father served as his
best man. Serving as ush
ers were William Ray
Kitchens 111, of Perry, and
Ronald Thomas of Warner
Robins.
The bride’s mother wore
a taupe tea-length gown
with a beaded bodice and a
flowing chiffon skirt. The
mother of the groom wore a
sea green chiffon dress
accented with seed pearls
gathered at her left shoul
der. The godmother of the
bride. Candy Kitchens.

Following the wedding
ceremony, a reception was
hosted by the bride’s par
ents at the Officers’ Club at
Robins Air Force Base.

Surrounded by the
bridesmaids’ bouquets was
a four-tier stacked bridal

in San Francisco, the new
lyweds are living in Warner
Robins.
Prenuptial events
On June 11, Kay Sherrill,
aunt of the bride, and Von
nie Bacon, grandmother of
the bride.' Hosted a bridal
luncheon at the New Perry
Hotel. On the evening
before the wedding, the
parents of the groom, Mr.
and Mrs. William Warner
Paris and Connie Jeane
Paris, hosted a rehearsal
dinner at the Houston Lake
Country Club. After cock
tails and dinner, guests
participated in an evening
of toasts and a video in
honor of the bride and
groom.

holds a bachelor s of sci
ence degree in health edu

She is completing her
