scheduled* entertainment
for the fair anniversary.
Trisha Yearwood will per
form Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Yearwood is a native Geor
gian and h£r opening act
will be another native Geor
gian. John Berry.
“It is fitting to have two
people from Georgia, who
have made it big in the
entertainment field, per
forming at. the tenth
anniversary celebration.”
said Froehlich. Cost of the
show is $24.50.
However, Froehlich said
the entertainment does not
stop there. “George Jones
will be performing here
Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. That will
be a tremendous value.”

Oct. 15 will have Monica
in the Reaves Arena spot
light. “Monica has been at
the top of the chart with
her hit Angel’ for weeks."

starts at 8 p.m.
Final concert of the fair
will be Oct. 16 and features
Sawyer Brown. Opening for
Sawyer Brown will be Toby
Keith. Concert time will be
7:30 p.m. and cost is
$24.50.
Tickets for the concerts
will be on sale Aug. 14 at
the Fairgrounds box office.
Ticket prices include gate
admission to the Fair and
surcharge.
The headliner concerts
are not the only entertain
ment the Georgia National
Fairgrounds has in store
for fair-goers this year.
According to Froehlich, the
Fair has a varied lineup of
entertainment and attrac
tions scheduled.
Some entertainment and
attractions scheduled are
Royal Hanneford Circus.
Pangaea Wildlife Show,
Zambelli Fireworks, Knud
sen Brothers, 4-H Clovers
and Co., 4-H Talent Show,
Atahualpa, Ed and Geral
dine’s Old-Time Music,
Bikes and Blades Show,
Leon Jacobs’ Keyboard
Magic, Todd Lagessie Stilt
walker, Jerry Lee Organist,
brother and sister singers
Matt and Robyn, Organ
Grinders Chuck and
Yvonne, Oscar the Robot,
Phillips’ exotic petting zoo,
pony rides. Puppetone
Rockers, Alan Redstone’s
One Man Band, Robinson’s
Racing Pigs, Southern
States Percheron Hitch,
Tadpole the Clown. Buck
Trout Puppet Stage Show
and Vehicle, Zeek’s Model A

Froehlich said the last
Sunday of the fair will have
several anniversary spe
cials including promotional
drawings and give-aways.
Tickets for the fair are $5
per person and children 10
and under are free. Senior
citizens will be able to
attend for $4. Ten-day
passes are available and
parking is free.
“This will be the Fair
Bear’s last blast before the
millennium,” said
Froehlich.
