Perry Heating and Cooling keeping Perryans comfortable despite heat

Temperatures are hot. hot.
hot. It is no time for a resi
dential or commercial air
conditioning system to loose
its cool. Thanks to Perry
Heating and Cooling, and its
sister company, Air Condi
tioning Associates Inc., stay
ing cool is simple as making a
phone call.
Randy Martin, owner of
Perry Heating and Cooling,
and Air Conditioning Associ
ates Inc., has been in the
heating and cooling business
since 1994, but his experi
ence with the business has
been lifelong.
Martin’s businesses offer
the latest technology in heat
ing and cooling.
“Puron is the upcoming
industry technology. It is an
environmentally sound refrig
erant that will replace the R
-22," said Martin.
In 2004, HCFC production
will be cut by 35 percent.
After Jan. 1, 2010, no new R
-22 equipment can be manu
factured and R-22 production
will be severely limited.
Puron is the alternative.
"As Carrier dealers, we
offer the Puron systems now,"
said Martin. He said the cost
now is relatively low consider
ing the cost of replacing a
system twice.
Martin said he had an
Atlanta customer install the
new Puron system and called
him to say “thanks for lower
ing her cooling bill by $95 a
month."
“Customers can expect
lower bills and better comfort.
The system is quiet. You
could cany on a conversation
right next to a unit. It makes
no more noise than a refriger
ator,” said Martin.
Because Puron is a high
pressure svftem, it requires
thicker tubing walls and
stronger base. Everything is
beefed up in the unit. It is
built stronger.
“Therefore, these units last
better." said Martin.
He said several Puron
units have been installed in

It's not all that unusual for a company

decades? Or centuries?
At Weyerhaeuser, that kind of long-term

increase wood yields for decades to come. And
now we’re finding innovative ways to produce

But when your air condi

Perry Heating and Cooling
