former student from her
first year of teaching at
Grady High School in
Atlanta after graduating
from Georgia College.
Allen Charles Tenebaum,

One of Perry’s beauty
queens was her most beau
tiful Saturday evening.
Heather Wilder repeated
marriage vows with Tom
Stage for the Rev. Jim
Shipley at Perry United
Methodist Church amid
bouquets of white flowers,
white candles and white
tulle bows.
The brunette bride’s
white wedding gown with
train half the length of the
aisle and tulle veil were
contrasted by the spaghet
ti-strapped navy gowns of
her attendants and black
tuxedos of his groomsmen.
Family and friends of the
couple continued to cele
brate with them at a recep
tion and dance to the
music of Jettison Blue at
Houston Lake Country
Club.
Heather and Tom Stage
are honeymooning this
week at Falcon’s Ledge
located in the Seclusion of
the Rockies at Altamont,
Utah and Las Vegas.

The country home of
Larry and Linda Johnson
was the setting for a barbe
cue supper celebration
July 24 honoring Jeanna
Bishop and Lee Smallwood.
Their wedding is planned
for Sept. 25 at Perry United
Methodist Church.
Assisting the Johnsons
in entertaining were Jack
and Sara Smith, Julie
Stanley, Eddie and Beverly
Sullivan, Elwood and
Annette Waites and Butch
and Lynda Williams.
The gazebo proved to be
a popular gathering place
as the plug of the hot tub
had been pulled and it held
a tub of ice and beverages
instead of water. Stormy
weather did not even put a
damper on the festivities.

Macon, returned home for
a swim in the pool, enjoyed
a dinner prepared especial

of course, made a wish on a

had a fire extinguisher
