the dust."

on this issue. However, our
concerns would be for the
welfare of our children."

gle family residents to R 3
multi-family, they made
certain concessions such
as no mobile homes.
“There was no mention of
heavy industry along Perry
Parkway. That is quite a
stretch from R 3 to Ml.
However, the real issue is
the Perry Parkway. That
area can be a real asset to
Perry with residential and
commercial. With industry
well, that is another
thing," Kusar said.
Perry Mayor Jim Worrall
said. “While I do not speak
for the Council, 1 cannot
say I approve of the cement
plant being on the Perry
Parkway. I believe it should
be in the industrial park,
not on the Parkway. I think
there is an excellent spot
between the old PPG plant
and Hags Field. While the
city doesn't own it, we
would be willing to work
out something. There are
several possibilities."
“I will leave it to the
Council to make the deci
sion," said Howard, adding
the Council has ”45 days to
make a decision. After 45
days, if the Council has not
made a decision, the re

7 public hearing will be
