at candlelight ceremony

Hutchens of Perry were
united in holy matrimony
May 15 at 6 p.m. at the
First Baptist Church of
Perry.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Carl
Aubrey Ray Jr. of Gray and
Myra Horton of Bonaire.
The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Larry Hutchens of
Perry.
Following special praise
music and a presentation
of “Holy, Holy, Holy" by
Yvonne Edwards, vocalist
and pianist, a candlelight
double-ring ceremony
began. Larry Hutchens,
father of the groom sang
"There is Love" during the
seating: of the grandpar
ents. Teresa Jones sang
"The Parents’ Prayer” dur
ing the seating of the moth
ers.

regular monthly meet
ings.

were present.
Meetings of the auxil

third Thursday of each
month at 11:45 a.m.

down." a song which he had
written for this special day.
As the bride and groom lit
the unity candle, “From
this Moment" was played.
After the closing prayer,
Yvonne Edwards sang “The
Blessing" as the couple was
presented as man and wife.
Debbie Fendley directed the
wedding celebration.
The bride wore a formal
length off-the-shoulder
satin dress, accented with
lace and pearls. The back of
the dress was decorated
with a row of buttons from
the bodice to the bottom of
the full train.
A cathedral length veil
with tiny pearls dispersed
throughout was attached to
a pearl tiara. The bride car
ried two dozen blush roses
decorated with sheer white
ribbon.
A color scheme of laven
der and blush was carried
throughout the ceremony.
The bridesmaid's proces
sional was to "The Wedding
Song” by Kenny G. Brandi
Ray of Gray was her sister’s
maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Lori Carter of Fort Val
ley. Angie McCune of Penn
sylvania. Tasha Wilkins of
Savannah, and Amanda
Crowder of Anchorage,
Alaska, sister of the groom.
Flower girls were Emily
Virginia Campbell and
Sarah Grace Morzark,
cousins of the groom, both
of Churchville, Va.
Best man was Zane
Pritchett of Perry. Grooms
men were Jason Niederko
rn of Perry, Josh Horton of
Bonaire, brother of the
bride. John Hutchens and
T.J. Hutchens of Perry,
both brothers of the groom.
Ring bearer was Austin
Lee VanLandingham,
cousin of the bride.
Immediately following
the ceremony, the couple
spent their first night at the
Henderson Village before
leaving for their honey
moon in Hilton Head and
Savannah.
They are making their
home in Bvron.

vows at Virgin Islands
Myra Gibbs and Bud Yansoni were married July 22.
1999. in St. Thomas Virgin Islands,
The bride is the daughter of Vickie and Andy
McCormick of Eastman. She attends Macon State
College.
The groom is the son of Gus and LaVelle Yansom of
Perry and Mria Payne of Fort Valley.
