Mike Froehlich
addressed the Perry Cham
ber of Commerce during
the Sept. 29 Good Morning
Perry Breakfast.
Froehlich reflected on
the Georgia National Fair’s
past, highlighting the best
of each. He noted the fair
was nicknamed the Clean
Fair in 1992 and that
“sinct 1991. we have been
awarded 22 different
awards for our fair."
Froehlich said, “A direc
tor of fairgrounds is only
as good as the last fair.
Last year we had 10 per
fect days and 390,000 peo
ple attended. I only ask for
10 perfect days this year."
He told the members
this year's fair will have
four terrific concerts:
Trisha Yearwood and John
Berry. George Jones. Mon
ica and Grits, and Toby
Keith and Sawyer Brown.
In addition, to the con
certs, entertainment,
exhibits, and midway
rides, the fair will have a
10th birthday party for the
Fair Bear and several prize
give-aways during the
course of the fair.
Also during the Good
Morning Perry Breakfast.
Mike Baker recognized
four area high school stu
dents as the Chamber’s
Students of the Month.
They are Susan St.
Charles, Perry High; John
Hutchens, Perry High;
Courtney Gregory, West
field; and Amanda Coogle,
