Then my husband’s sis
ter was told she needs a
double biopsy because her
recent mammogram
showed two masses (and
her doctor said it was
masses, not cysts) in her
breasts.
So, my husband and I,
like the rest of the family,
are on pins and needles
waiting for her biopsy to
be scheduled and its
results.
However, this week may
be starting to look up. My

Charlotte, gave me a lovely
hand-painted pot with a
‘Happy Monday’ note
attached. And, according to
my scales at home. I’ve lost
another 5 pounds.
Oh, yean ... my brother
didn’t have cancer. It was
an abscess in the bone.
While he will be in the hos
pital for a while and the
recovery could take a bit,
the doctors believe he has a
98 percent chance of a full
cure.
Guess this proves that
whenever things look bleak,
have patience and do a lot
of praying. Things will
brighten up soon enough.

“Insight On Eyesight ”
It’s a vision thing
by Dr. J. Mathis Dixon,
Eyesight Associates
Just as visual faculties differ
from person to person, visual
needs vary as well. They depend on
the visual activities performed each
day and the time spent in each
endeavor.
A person who works eight hours
a day with eyes glued to a comput
er monitor, for instance, has differ
ent needs than a bus driver, retail
clerk or golf pro.

inquires about your occupation,
age, visual working distance, and
length of time .spent on near-point
