Welcome to Perry and Georgia
By Joan Dorsett
Houston ii Hoj«_Journai ; ________
Welcome to Perry Nicholas
Glen Granger. Ken and
Nancy Granger returned to
Perry late Dec. 18 with their
newly adopted 2 years and 3
months old son from Baby
Orphanage #1 in Voronezh,
Russia.
This is one of thousands
of Russian orphanages
and just 250 miles from the
war zone.
He is pictured with his
parents leaving the office of
Dr. Dan Stewart with a clean
bill of health.
Ken and Nancy flew Delta
to New York and 9 1/2 hours
to Moscow. Then a 12-hour
train took them to Voronezh
where 26-degree weather
and no snow was unusually
pleasant.
Translators were helpful,
trains were plush and the
Marriot in Moscow was
superb, the Grangers report

MY CARD FOR YOU
This is when I was about
2, I think, when we still
lived in Atlanta. My dad
was into photography and
probably made this card
that's almost 60 years old.
A relative had it and gave
it back to me a few years
ago.
