The Augusta Bridge
Is again oferedfor sale.
IN obedience to a decree of the 6th Cir
cuit Court of the United Slates, lor
the District of Georgia, will be sold, at
Public Auction, to the hlglsest bidder,
at the market house in the city of Augus
ta, on Thursday the 28th day of Nov em
ber next, The Augusta Bridge and its
app urtenancfs.
The terms of sale will bo, “one third
rash; one third payable in in one year
from the date of the sale, with interest at
seven per centum per annum, and the re
maining third payable in two years from
the dale of the said sale, with like interest
—The purchaser giving bond with ap
proved personal security, and a mortgage
of the premises.”

The parents and guardians who will trust
thorn pupils may depend on their punc
tuality. Every kind of Dancing will be
taught, such as Gavote, Hornpipe,
Fancy Dance after the most approved

mantlets. They willattcnd, if called, to
the Academies and Seminaries in town.

The third lessen will be a practising par
ly, only for scholars, which will take
place every Saturday, from 4 to 9.
They also will have an evening school
for gentlemen.
Messrs. C. & H. at the solicitation of
many ladies and gentlemen, have made
some repairs to (heir house to have Co
tillion Parties during all the season, —
which will take place every Thursday,
and to begin in November and continue
until May; the room will be sufficiently
large to dance five Cotillions, Admit
tance, one dollar, for gentlemen. There
is a separate room for the Ladies. Sea
son tickets sls, for gentlemen who wish
to be subscribers.
Mr. IJEULA.V teaches many other
branches of Education, —such as the
French Language, Piano, Guitar, Violin
and Vocal Music, in the most approved
style. He also tunes Piano Fortes.

Sinking School.

PROPOSES opening a singing school
at the Academy on the first Tues
day evening in November. All those
who feel an interest in Sacred Music,
are respectfully invited to attend on that
evening, as a short lecture on the sub
ject may then be expected. When the
school is organized, if desired, it will be
moved to some central part of the city.
Those who may wish to attend as scho
lars will please to leave their names at
the Book store of Messrs. Elys, Mr.
Sturges or Mr. Hobby.
Tbe school will meet two evenings in
each week. Mr. Dyer’s collection will
be used; terms five dollars per quarter.

will be Monday, Wednesday and Fri
day evenings, from i to 6 o’clock.
