Oath—The unfavorable reports of the oorn
prospoct has put oats in lively demand nt 75o.
Louisville Markets.
The Courier Journal of Wednesday ways:—
A decided weakness was shown to-day in tho
provision market, cHpeoially for baoon.
Dealers have been contending for several
days past to maintaiu prices, but the tele
graphic advioee to-day were regarded as un
favorable, and prioon oould no longer be well
sustained.
Bacon—The demand is moderate, with
sales reported to-day oh follows: GOcaskii dear
rib sidos at 10 to lU|o; 7 oaaka dear sides at
10!o, and C casks shoulders at 10 to 164c.
Laud— 1 Tho market is quiet but steady, with
a sale of 15 tiercel ut 20Jc. Wo quote keg
lard at 22c.
Hams—Are in fair consumptive demand,
stock materially reduoed and holders careleaH
about selling except at full prices. A sale of
38 tioroea of assorted brands was made to
day at 214 to 23Jc. We continue to quote
plain hams at 21io; sugar-cured at 22c, and
fancy sugar cured at 23io.
Cincinnati Markets.
From the Commercial of Tuesday we get
tbo following : Corn was steady aud strongly
advanced natil on yesterday it reached $1 10.
To-day the market lost strength, and a do-
cline to $1 05 took place with considerable
sales at that figure.
There waa some show of a better feeling as
to Provisions, on Tuesday, but it amounted
to no improvement in the trade, and transac
tions have, throughout the week, been limi
ted to a moderate consumptive demaud.
Prices for staff have undergone little or no
change.
Mess Pork continues to be hold at $33 50,
but it is not wauted at better than $33, and
not iu large request at that.
Lard is held at 20c, but with sourcely auy
inquiry, and Bales conld not be effected with
out conceding full Jo.
Bulk Shoulders are held at 14c, yet are not
saleable at more than 13Jc. Rib Bides have
lGJc us a tiuding figure, but are held at lGJo.
Clear rib Sides are scarce, and hardly quot
able. Clear Bides are held at ltiic. Bacon
Shoulders would sell, in a small way, at 15fc,
but 151 is asked. Bacon clear rib Sides uro
quoted lit 18£, with a moderate trade. Clcnr
Sides are held at 1‘Jo, but dull at that.

brings it within the roach of evorybody: and in bilious
districts, whore FavEit and Aavz prevails, everybody
should have it and use it freely both for euro and pro

from Its irritation, among which are Neuralgia, Rheu

of the Hnleeu, Hysterics, Pain in tho Bowels, Colic,
Paralysis, and Derangement of tho Stomach, all of
which, when originating in UiJs cause, pot on the in

expels the poison from the blood, and consequently
cures them all aliko. It Is an invaluable protection to
immigrants and persons traveling or temporarily re
siding in the malarious districts. If taken occasional
ly or daily while exposed to the infection, that will bo
excreted from the system, and cannot accumulate In
sufficient quantity to ripen into dkeaae. Hence it is
even more valuable for protection than cure, and few
will ever suffer from Intermittents, ii they avail them*
