we may forfeit tiie friendship oi some ol t.u lacul- ;

his Sanative too valuable not to be generally
known —fo< what our eyes behdld and our ears
hear, we must believe. j ,
We nereby sta e, that when* Dr. Louts Olien
Goclick first came before the German public, as j
the pretended discoverer of a ne\k doctrine and a ]

tempt, believing and openly proiuiuncing him to be

hearing so much .said about tiie Sanative,against it

wc now deem it our bounden duty (even at the ;
expense of self-interesl public!;, to acknowledge ,
its efficacy in curing not only consumption, but ;
other fearful maladies, which we have heretofore .
believed to be incuiable. Our contempt lor the j
discoverer of this medicine was at once swallowed .
up in our utter astonishment at these unexpected ,
results* and, as amends for our abuse ol him, we ,
do frankly confess to the world, that we belie.c
him a philanthropist,who does honor to the pw.es
