until the 30th day of September, 1803,
both days inclusive, at the following
places, viz.
First. At Niagara, at Detroit, at
Michilimacinac, and at Fort Wayne.
Second. At Cincinnati and St. Vin
cennes.
Third. At Fort Maffac, near the
.mouth of the Ohio, and Kalkalkias.
Fourth. At South Weft Point, Telli
co, Knoxville, and on the road from
Nashville to the line between the Cliicka
faws and Choftaws, and any place or
places where troops are or may be station.

Twelfth. At Fort Trumbull, at Fort
Wolcot, and at any place or places w'here’

or recruited within the states of Connec
ticut, llhode-llland and Vermont.

Fourteenth. At Portsmouth, at Port
land, and at any place or places where
troops are or may be ftanoned, matched
or recruited within the State of Ncw-

A ration to cpnflft of eighteen ounces
af bread or flour, or when neither can be
obtained, of one quart of rice,
and an half pound of fifted or bolten In
dian meal, one pound and a quarter ol
beef, or three quarters ot a pound ol pork,
one gill of rum, whilkey or brandy, and
at the rate of two quarts of fait, four
quarts of vinegar, four pounds ot soap,
and one pound and an half ol candles to
every bundled rations. The price ot the
several component parts of the ration, as
well as fubftitules and alternatives, must,
be fpecified. _ .
Hie rations are to be furnilhed in such
quantities, as that there [hall at all times,
during the term of the proposed contracts,
be fufiicient for the consumption of the
troops at Michilimacinac, Detroit and
Niagara for fix months in advance ; and
at each of the Other ports on the weftern
waters, for at lead three months in ad-,
vance, of good and wholesome providers,
if the fame (hall be required. It is also
to be permitted to all and every cf the
commandants of fortified places, or pods,
, to call for at seasons when the fame can
be transported, or at any lime in the case

The privilege is to be understood to be

that none of the supplies which may be

which have been or may be furnilhed un
der contrails now in force, have been
consumed, and that a supply in advance
may be always required at any of tbe fix
ed posts on the fcaboard or Indian Fron
tiers, not excreding three months.

bout 30 years of age, $ feet 8 019 inches
high, likely and well made. — Kelly*,
a well made, likely black wench, about
29years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high
—The above delcribed negroes formerly
belonged to the estate of Doflor Lvman
Hall, deccafed, and since to Jcfcph Watts
deceafcd, of whom 1 purchased them, '
Aifo a negro man named Stephen,
about 2£ years of age, 5 feet 7or 8 inches
high, a black, Aim, straight made fel
low, and formerly belonged to Jas, Lyon.
It is probable that they will keep toge
gether, and I expefl will make for the
Salt* below Savannah, a* they are well
acquainted there.
The above Reward and till rcafonablq
eXpenccs will be paid to any person that
will lodge them in any jail in this (late,
so that I may get them again, or Ten
Dollars for any one of them.
